The first-ever comprehensive collection of the Rishonim's commentaries on the tefilos and piyutim of Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur, gathered from manuscripts—published here for the very first time. A monumental 2-volume set available in both Nusach Ashkenaz and Sefard.
Many foundational Torah works by the Rishonim survive only in scattered manuscripts, fragmentary copies, or inaccessible private collections.
This initiative is dedicated to locating, preserving, and restoring these precious texts — presenting them in beautiful, elegant editions with clear, readable typesetting and thoughtfully prepared footnotes. These notes are designed to support both scholars and laymen, making the material accessible and enriching for all who study it.
The publication of forgotten Torah manuscripts has long been regarded by our greatest sages as one of the highest forms of supporting Torah. The Sefer Chasidim compares neglected Torah to a Meis Mitzvah, while the Chidushei HaRim describes bringing hidden Torah manuscripts into print as a form of Pidyon Shevuyim.
Those who make this work possible are promised extraordinary reward. Rav Chaim Palagi writes that one who supports the publication of Torah works merits to dwell in the company of those very Torah scholars in the World to Come, because through him their Torah continues to be studied.
Rav Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld wrote:
"All those who assist and labor to bring to light whatever remains of the sacred Torah insights of the early sages—there is no measure to their reward, in Heaven above and on earth below. By virtue of this merit, they will merit holy children engaged in Torah, the ability to dwell in quiet tranquility devoted to Torah and the service of Hashem, and long life."
